Obituary
Bannister, Loren W. March 13, 1926 - March 28, 2016. Dear father of Brian (Mary); beloved grandfather of Alex; treasured great-grandfather of his Little One; dear brother of Marcia and the late Russell; dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Loren was a Monsanto chemist for 40+ years, a WWII Navy Veteran, and a Silver Life Master bridge player who was deeply fond of nature and song. He was a kind and humble man who spoke honestly, loved deeply, and inspired us with his perseverance; he will be dearly missed. Services: Visitation Thursday, March 31, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at COLLIER'S Fu neral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann). Service Friday, April 1, 10:00 AM at Collier's Funeral Home.
