Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Burks, age 78 of Olathe KS, passed away Thursday, April 9th, 2020, at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe KS. She was born in Mexico, MO on May 25th, 1941, daughter of the late William and Helen (Barker) Poeschel.
On May 30th, 1959, at St. Peters Cathedral in Jefferson City, MO, Betty married Roger Burks who survives at the home. She is also survived by four sons; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.
One brother, Bob Poeschel and one sister, Margaret Reeves, preceded her in death.
Betty and Roger lived in Macon, MO for 45 years before recently moving to Olathe, KS. Betty worked as a Real Estate agent in Macon, MO for 32 years. She enjoyed her bowling league where she made many close friends. Betty was also a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Macon, MO.
There will be a private Interment at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery.
