Blanche E. Otis was the daughter of Homer C. & Ida (Skinner) Otis.
She was the wife of Herbert John Langmaid. (m. June 5, 1917)
Geneva Daily Times, Friday, October 25, 1957, page 5:
Canandaigua--Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Otis Langmaid, 60, who died Thursday evening at St. Mary's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., will be held at 2pm Saturday at the Kennedy Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Gale Tymerson, pastor of the Henrietta Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in E. Bloomfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Langmaid had been residing with her son, Herbert J. Langmaid, 271 Pearl St., Rochester. She suffered a sudden illness while visiting her daughter, Mrs. Giles McIntosh in Memphis.
She was a resident of Reed Corners, Ontario County for 40 years prior to moving to Rochester four years ago. She was the widow of Herbert J. Langmaid, who died in 1952 (sic, 1954)
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. McIntosh, Mrs. Margaret Deaner, Boston, Mass., Mrs. Thomas Blue, Tuscon, Ariz., two sons, Gilbert W. of Batavia and Herbert of Rochester, and a brother, Roy C. Otis, Rochester.
