Notes for John Nuthall Sr.
Came to US as a youth (teenager) and was a servant to Hugh Hays in Virginia, ran away and lived with Indians for a while before being recaptured and brought back to Mr. Hays. Later, as an adult, was an interpreter and trader with Indians, made five or six trips back to England with his trade.
