Amy Hinson Hess, 30, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011.
She was born on Feb. 27, 1980, at Kennett, Mo. She was the daughter of Suzanne Love Hinson and the late Billy D. "Pete" Hinson of Jonesboro.
Amy attended Arkansas State University and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was employed several years at the Jonesboro revenue office. She enjoyed fine arts, music and dancing. Amy had a great love for decorating, especially helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hess; mother, Suzanne Love Hinson; grandfather, Gene Love; and grandmother, Dorothy Hinson, all of Jonesboro. She is also survived by an aunt, Becky Creecy and husband Jim; and cousins, Scott Creecy and wife Sara, and Brooke Barnett and husband Grant, all of Osceola.
She also leaves her mother-in-law, Cyndi Goodpaster and husband Clayton of Higden, and father-in-law, Richard W. Hess Sr. and wife Kay of Mountain Home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy D. "Pete" Hinson; grandfather, Bill Hinson; and grandmother, Sue Love.
Burial was in Philadelphia Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were the members of the Southwest Church of Christ.
Honorary pallbearers were: Homer Harp, Milton Wayne Harbison, Zack Ungerank, Sammy Wilson, Adam Hess, Curtis Goodpaster, Matt Chandler and Matt Pierce.
