Notes for Lemuel Bannister
Moved from Brookfield to Goshen County. Town of Phelps states that "in 1797 Theodore and Lemuel Bannister located just north of Oaks Corners". This Lemuel might refer to the son. Another account, which is probably correct, says Theodore Bannister settled in 1798 and Lemuel one year later.
