Notes for Christopher Bannister
Served in French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War. He was a Lieutenant in the Revolution and afterwards was called "Major". He lived for several years at Brookfield. He was in Goshen 1774, 1785 and 1787. He lived in Windson, Massachusetts 1789 after which he is not traced. He was probably in Saratoga County, New York in the 1800 Census with his son John, although he died in Goshen, Massachusetts.
