Obituary - Renollet, Teddie Donald 78, of Fairview Heights, IL and Oak Grove, AR, born on Monday, September 27, 1933 in E. St. Louis, IL, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Teddie was an identical twin. Throughout their childhood, Teddie and Freddie worked hard selling coal, kindling wood, hauling trash, selling bottles and running an E. St. Louis Journal paper route. At the age of two, Teddie contracted polio. He was in and out of the Shriners Hospitals. At the age of nine, he had a total of seven operations, but his polio never held him down. At the age of 17, he owned his own gasoline station: F&F Service Center. At an early age, Teddie had a burning desire to study the Bible. He spent his free time studying, preaching and teaching. He used the gasoline station to minister to his customers. At the age of 23, he married the love of his life: Hazel Charlene Coburn Renollet in the house he built for her in Fairview Heights, IL. They would have been happily married for 55 years coming this November. Teddie continued in his gasoline business, along with becoming a minister at Oak Hill Chapel in St. Louis, MO. He later built and ministered at Chapel on the Hill in Oak Grove, AR. His ministry lasted for 47 years and touched the lives of many people. Pastor Teddie loved his family but CHERISHED his Church Family. He was a loving Shepherd to us all. Teddie has three lovely daughters, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. His grandchildren were the joy of his life. Teddie has enjoyed traveling with his family, camping in his motor coach, watching college basketball, rooting for the Cardinals and avidly kept up with world news. Teddie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mable (nee Vallandingham) Renollet; two sisters, Mary Ann (nee Renollet) Yates and Patricia (nee Renollet) Bertels; and nephew Freddie Renollet Jr. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Charlene (nee Coburn) Renollet; three daughters: Teresa Dawn (Pat) Brannon, Michelle Marie (Dave) Petty and Tonja Renee (Lou) Dewolf; seven grandchildren, Rebekah Dawn Hackney, Robyn Deana Mathes, Rachelle Denae Mathes, Landen Storm Dewolf, Laine Marne Dewolf, Lindley Paige Dewolf, Jordan Nicholas Dewolf; one great grandchild; Trenton Alexander Hackney; brother, Fred R. Renollet, and many dear nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Hill Chapel, 6100 Leona St., St. Louis, MO, or Shriners Hospital. Services: Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Oak Hill Chapel, 6100 Leona St., St. Louis, MO.
