Lorraine B. Rouse of Cuba, Missouri was born on December 18, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Hardee and Delores (Sharp) Knight. She left from this life on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri at the age of 83 years.
Lorraine was united in marriage to Alvin L. Rouse on September 10, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri. To this union two daughters were born Peggy and Judy.
Lorraine was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba. She worked over the years for the Outpost in Leasburg, Abbey Winery, Peoples Bank and she was also a Tupperware Dealer for several years. She enjoyed golfing in which she had 2 Holes in 1, bowling, word puzzles and she watched the Wheel of Fortune every evening.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Hardee and Delores (Sharp) Knight; husband Alvin L. Rouse; five sisters Darlene and husband Bud Stratman, Shirley and husband Gene Powers, Joyce and husband Tom Blaylock, Pat and husband Steve Roper, twin Elaine Knight.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving daughters Peggy and husband Doug Windle of Cherryville, Judy Rouse of Cuba; two grandsons Joshua and wife Rebecca Windle of Columbia, Bradley and wife Lexa Windle of Sturgeon; two great-grandsons Nicholas and Christopher; two brothers Sam and wife Debby Knight of House Springs, Bob and wife Judy Knight of Mexico; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 3-4 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 4:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Knight, officiating.
Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
If desired, memorials would be appreciated to First Baptist Church of Cherryville or First Baptist Church of Cuba.
